Sylvie Ray

Sylvie Ray joined United Way of Central Eastern California in October of 2024. Sylvie was born and raised here in Bakersfield and became passionate about helping others at a young age. She has over five years of experience working with the unhoused community, individuals with substance abuse disorder, and mental health disorders. She has worked with various local non-profit agencies in Kern County, including Flood Ministries and Community Action Partnership of Kern. Her passion is helping the unhoused population access and maintain housing. Sylvie looks forward to being a part of the UWCEC team and helping make a difference in the community.
