Isidro Barrientos

Isidro ‘Issy’ Barrientos is a Bakersfield native. Born and raised in Kern County, he saw the struggles of working families. He has two associate degrees from Bakersfield College in Communication and Liberal Arts. He got the opportunity to intern for the Kern, Inyo, and Mono Counties Central Labor Council. The experience further solidified his beliefs in unions and standing in solidarity with working families. Currently, he is working towards his Bachelor’s degree in Communication from San Diego State University.
