Sandra joined United Way of Central Eastern California in June of 2023 as a Family Life Educator within the Education Department. She is grateful to have interned within the organization through California’s inaugural College Corp Program as an Education Fellow before transitioning into a full-time staff role. During her fellowship with UWCEC, Sandra discovered a passion for helping her community and sharing all available resources to those in need. As Lead Family Life Educator, she is proud to help students in promoting healthy living and sexual health education. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at California State University of Bakersfield in Fall 2023.
