Jacky joined United Way of Central Eastern California in 2021. During her undergraduate experience, she volunteered with various student-led nonprofit organizations where she gained a passion for helping her community. This eventually led her to United Way, where its comprehensive approach to improving the lives of community members continues to inspire her. Through her experience within the Family Life Education program, Jacky helped implement evidence-based curricula to local students to empower them to make informed decisions regarding their health. In addition, Jacky is motivated to enhance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to drive meaningful change throughout UWCEC’s service areas. Jacky currently serves as the Health Department Manger to further support UWCEC in reducing the health equity gaps of our communities. She is pursuing a graduate degree in Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management and is expected to graduate in Summer of 2025.
