As the Director of Program Development at United Way of Central Eastern California, Amelia leads innovative program initiatives and collaborates closely with leadership to support grant writing, compliance, and strategic growth. Additionally, she oversees all departments of community impact, including education, health, and economic resilience. Amelia’s diverse career journey at United Way started in 2018, where she quickly progressed from Data Entry Clerk to Office Manager and eventually became a key leader in program development. Her experience spans multiple roles, including grant compliance, bookkeeping, and family life education, highlighting her versatility and dedication.
In addition to her professional work, Amelia Dias is a classically trained violinist and vocalist with over 30 years of experience, specializing in both classical and mariachi music. She is the lead violinist and a vocalist for Mariachi Sol y Luna, where she brings joy to clients through her performances and manages client relations. She also teaches private violin and voice lessons, sharing her passion for music with students of all ages and promoting cultural appreciation for mariachi traditions. Amelia is a dedicated mother of twins, Emma and Owen, and balances her career, teaching, and performing with grace and enthusiasm.
